Keeping New Years Resolutions

I have made some New Years Resolutions, as I am sure most of the world has. I have decided to call them commitments. Does anyone have suggestions for ways that I might be more successful at fulfilling them?

Renewing with a more challenging label is a great start! It almost seems the word "resolution" has become synonymous with "a wish lacking the willpower to do anything about it."

I'm getting ready to post a few of my new year's commitments, and I think success for me has to do with answering the question, how can I build on the positive habits and disciplines I've initiated in '06? I try to think in terms of process and it's helped a lot.

RYC: yes, I wrote that at the end of last year. We're going to make Jesus People our student ministries theme in 2007.
